Frequently Asked Questions

  • What can I expect during the first session?
Prior to your first appointment, you will need to complete an information data sheet. This information will give the counselor an overall picture of your background up to the present time. Dr. Crawford will review the forms with you and ask you to share in detail the issues for which you are seeking services and answer any questions you may have. From there, future appointments are scheduled.
  • Are my sessions confidential?
What is said in therapy stays in therapy… for the most part. There are a few legally obligated reasons for a therapist to break confidentiality which include: 1. Harm to self, therapist or others. 2. Danger to an older adult or child under the age of 18. 3. A health or medical emergency during session. 4. Court subpoena.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
Appointments must be cancelled 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments and cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance result in a full fee charge for the counseling session.
  • What are your fees?
Individual sessions begin at $375 per session. You can email info@lifebrightnow.com for more information.
  • What issues can you help me with?
Depression, anxiety, stress management, grief and loss, trauma, emotional, physical, & sexual abuse, spiritual strongholds such as, fear, rejection, loneliness, bitterness, etc.
  • Do you accept insurance?
Dr. Crawford does not work directly with insurance providers at this time. However, many plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network providers. Upon request, you can be provided with the paperwork to submit to your insurance company. Contact your insurance company to find out if your plan covers out-of-network mental health services.
  • How long is a typical session?
